Do yorkies get along with kids?

The short answer is absolutely YES! 

Even though I don't have kids, but my Yorkie often gets into situations where kids are around him. So, I know pretty well how my Yorkie interacts with kids. 

Kids love Yorkshire Terriers and as soon as they see my Yorkie, they start smiling and pointing at him with fingers. It's probably because of my dog's size, because he is really small compared to other dog breeds. Even if you compare him with other Yorkies his is small either.  

When a kid approaches my Yorkie, he does not show any signs of aggression or anything like this. He sometimes lays down on the ground and looks ashamed or scared. I believe it's not only my dog, but other Yorkies behaves the same. 

Moreover, you should also keep an eye on how kids treat your dog, because they can easily injure him. Yorkies are small and fragile, so kids can harm your dog unintentionally.
